I personally strongly support upgrading of IT-BHU to an IIT. I appeal all the responsible decision makers to rise to the occasion and contribute to the growth of India as a self-reliant and progressive nation. Can you do it without a technologically advanced human resource? IITs are known within and outside of India as centres of excellence. Open many more, for all deserving students to fulfill their dreams and make their contribution.
Good luck to all students and faculty!!
