Dear Alumni

It was indeed a pleasure to have everyone at the Annual Dinner. We take this opportunity to thank Mr. Deepak Pahwa (1969 Batch) for the wonderful venue they had provided us and Sanjeev ji for putting together a memorable cultural event. Main highlights of the cultural event:

• Mrs Mehrotra (our Master of Ceremonies)
• "Kishore Kumar - Legend Forever" by Sanjeev Sharma
• scintillating Guitar/Singing Performance by Sanat Vajpayi (The voice of IT-BHU, 1992)
• Mouth Organ Peformance By R . K. Gupta(1986 Batch)
• Other performances from alumni families including Anjali ji, Manjari ji and their children
• The cultural performance was aptly complemented by games conducted by Debashish (1982 Batch).

The gifts were lovingly sponsored by Anjani Technoplast, Courtesy: R.K. Gupta (1986 Batch), who also made sure that his batchmates attend the event in highest number to win the award for maximum number of attendees from a particular batch. Younger alumni included students coming from Varanasi to showcase glimpses of upcoming Kashiyatra Cultural event at the institute, budding entrepreneurs from Bangalore etc. Overall the event was attended by around 125 families. After a thought provoking Panel discussion and our Pan-IIT debut, it's high time for some informal get-together to unwind and cheer everyone up admist the recovering markets! The Governing Body of AIBA is pleased to announce the annual family dinner, and requests your participation to make this a success.

What?

-           The IT-BHU Alumni Annual "Drinks & Dinner" Bash

-           A Gala Evening to meet fellow alumni (Look who's coming?) and their families and rejoice in golden   memories of hostel life, mess food, mass bunks, Gowdolia, Lankating, Lavang Lata, et al

-           Cultural performances by Alumni and family members

-           An On-the-spot Raffle Draw with attractive prizes

-           The most economical way of gifting your spouse (if married) an evening out

-           The cheapest and safest way to "Eat, Drink and Be Merry" if you are Single

-           Lots of free feel-good factors (Backslaps, Legpulls, Bearhugs, Handshakes, etc.)!
