IT Gymkhana, in association with ‘Nagari Naatak Mandali’ and ‘Abhinay Jyoti’, organized the first ever Theatre Festival of IT-BHU on 5th and 6th March 2005. The team of students performed Vijay Tendulkar’s ‘Khamosh…Adaalat Jaari Hai’, directed by Sushant Kumar, and Makrand Deshpande’s ‘Sir, Sir…Sarla’, directed by Sumit Saxena, in Swatantrata Bhavan and Prof. M. Sengupta Memorial Hall respectively. Prof. S.N. Upadhyay, Director, graced the event with his presence.
