DILIP CHHABRIA AT TECHNEX
Chronicle Editor @ Feb 19, 2006

TECHNEX, IT BHU’s technical festival promises to be an extravaganza unparalleled with a plethora of new events lined up. To be held from the 10th to the 12th of February, the Technex organizing committee led by student convener Subhajoy Das has already roped in some of the big shots in the manufacturing and software segments. The list is led by Dilip Chhabria, undoubtedly the best auto designer in India and considered to be one of the global top notches too.

Among the events, Panchatantrika- the hunt for the complete man, has been overflowing with registrations and other event related queries, pointing towards a new major attraction at Technex. Panchatantrika, as typified by the name is the search for the person with the perfect blend of five career-oriented skills- aptitude, core knowledge, programming concepts, communication and convincing skills as well as general awareness. The usual suspects like Modex and Robo Wars are not far behind in the popularity charts and what makes all the events particularly fashionable this year are the attractive cash prizes amounting to a lac on offer besides the laptop that will be given to the winner of Panchatantrika. Looks like Technex this year will be a far cry from what used to be the case.
