This issue contains the campus news about Dr. CNR Rao visiting our campus and delivering a lecture. As everyone knows, he is the Chairman of Scientific Advisory Committee to Prime Minister, the highest ranking scientist in our country. The most remarkable thing happened was that he came at the invitation of our 4th year Mechanical student, Pushpendra Kumar! We all should appreciate magnanimity of Prof. Rao.
The issue contains the social service organization Svechha, started by our alumnus, Puneet Bindlish (Mining 2002). Our alumni are always in the forefront of giving something back to the society.
