Several events like mime play, Mr. and Ms. Kashi Yatra, Rangoli (floor pattern), face painting, tattooing, creativity, music prelims, dance prelims and quiz were organised on Friday in which the students participated with a great zeal.
Students of around 30 engineering colleges are participating in various competitive events in the festival. The festival was inaugurated on Thursday evening and some events such as fashion show prelims, mimicry and dumb charades were held.

The main attraction of Thursday’s programme was a Kavi Sammelan in which noted satirists left students laughing and clapping till mid-night. The main hall of Swatantrata Bhawan remained jam-packed throughout the Kavi Sammelan.
Kavi Kumar Biswas compared the meet in which half-a-dozen poets from different parts of the country participated. Biswas recited a poem, ‘Utha Ke Meena Jo Maine Pucha, Kidhar Se Pehle...’ won great applause from the audience.

Ramesh Muskan of Agra rendered ‘Dhanya Ho Abdul Kalam Bhai, Apni Bhi Le Lo Salam Bhai’. Cheers greeted the poem of Muskan in which he outlined the love story of a Brahmin with a modern girl.

Praveen Shukla got appreciation over his creation ‘Former Lover, Present Husband’. Sampat Saran of Rajasthan made serious comments over degradation of values among the youth. Later, Pradeep Chaubey and Manik Verma also entertained the students.
