The Centre of Advanced Study, Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology has scheduled the National Conference. The conference on “Recent Advances in Waste Management” will be held during February 20-21, 2009 in the Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology.

Prof. K. K. Shrivastava (Professor & Head, Chemical Engineering Dept.) is the Chairman of the Organising Committee for the symposium.

Respected Sir,
We are happy to inform you that the Department of Chemical Engineering & Technology is organizing a National Conference on Recent Advances in Waste Management, RAWM-09 during February 20-21, 2009.
The main objective of this conference is to recognize the areas which need an immediate attention and which are posing threat to ecological balance. Keeping this in view, the conference will be focusing on emerging challenges in waste management, emission problems and management, effluent treatment technologies and sustainable technologies and other related issues. Varanasi being the center of learning, place of salvation and city of light, it is expected that a large number of participants (approx. 500) from Industries, Research Organizations, Academic Institutions and NGOs will participate in this conference. Eminent personalities from various related fields have agreed to deliver plenary and keynote addresses.
Academic Institution now needs greater support from organization like yours than ever before. The conference of this scale would not be possible without active support of Industries/Organization like you.
Therefore, we are looking forward for generous financial support from your organization for proposed conference. The support may be in the form of sponsorship of any event of the conference.
