We are very pleased to inform you that, continuing with the traditions, this year also, the Department of Electrical Engineering along with IET (U.K.)/IEEE (U.S.A.) and Electrical Engineering Society(EES) is organizing PRASTUTI 2009 – An all India Student's Paper Presentation Contest from 6th-8th March 2009.

About Prastuti
PRASTUTI, an all India Students Paper Presentation Contest is organized by IEEE (USA) and IET (UK), Students Branch, IT-BHU and Electrical Engineering Society (EES), Department of Electrical Engineering, IT-BHU. Since its inception in 2001, it no more stands as merely an event but has become a part of proud heritage of Department of Electrical Engineering, IT-BHU in a short time. Being conceived as a platform to inculcate in the students a culture of research, thinking and presenting new ideas and technologies, the event has seen active participation throughout the nation both from the academia and the industry, as we all understand the need of the ability to present what we innovate.
Continuing with the traditions, we take immense pride in announcing PRASTUTI 09 to be held in Department of Electrical Engineering, IT-BHU from 6th-8th March, 2009.

We have received following message from Abhinav Srivastava, Convener of Prastuti-2009:
This is Abhinav Srivastava, Convener, Prastuti-2009. This email is to request for some kind of help and support from alumni side.
The budget requirement for the Prastuti-2009 event is a modest sum of about Rs. 120,000, and we are expecting sponsorship worth just Rs. 15,000.
It is my kind request to you all, to help us to make the event successful. Help of any amount will definitely be accepted and appreciated considering the sour situation. We are planning to have the names of the alumni or alumni chapters/batches who contribute in our Prastuti-2009 souvenir.
We are also looking for any alumnus who is willing to be attend Prastuti as Chief Guest.
The procedure and other required details for transaction will be given soon.
