Spardha 09: A Preview

 IT BHU renowned for its academic excellence boats of a great sporting culture. The lush green playfields of IT BHU each year host Mecca of sports fest Spardha. Spardha 09 is scheduled to be held from 26^th Feb to 1^st March. Spardha gives ITians an opportunity to propagate and nourish our founding fathers Malviyaji’s dream of overall development.

Spardha, which started a decade ago has become an epitome of flawless management with number of participants exceeding 1300.Spardha 09 has been completely repackaged this year to satiate the zeal of ITians and participants.

What is new this year?

·                     For the first time in IT history a interactive portal in form of blog has been launched. We hope this shall act as platform for IT Junta, participants and all those who is some manner or other are related to IT and Spardha, to keep themselves updated with the day to day activities relating to event, expressing their thoughts and visions for Spardha. We hope that this blog shall act as a bridge between those concerned and organizers. To check the blog please visit www.spardha09.blogspot.com.

·                     A weekly newsletter “Spardha Capsule” with circulation of 500 copies for first edition has been launched. The first edition was printed on 23rd Jan and had already received immense appreciation. Among the main agenda of newsletter are:

 1) Information about sports activities in and around BHU. 

2) To pay tribute to those prolific achievers who spent their days in IT winning trophy after trophy.

3) We attempt to show our appreciation for the masters of the game who are gearing up for their farewell Spardha.

4) It is hoped that the energy of this newsletter will infect and inspire the 1^st yearites to pad up and perform for glory, honor and self-satisfaction.

  A series of informal events shall be introduced into the itinerary to involve the students who are not actively involved in Spardha.
