ICSP-Concept
Separation processes encompasses purification, enrichment, isolation etc., often the crucial unit operations involved in a wide variety of Industrial processes, ranging from pharmaceutical, food, specialty chemicals, petrochemical industries to environmental engineering. These industries are of great importance to the world economy. Separation processes have a major influence on the industrial energy consumption, and production cost. Separation equipment installation cost in the industries accounts for 40-70% of the total capital investments. The technology coat for separation processes are prohibitive and defining step for any technology commercialization. Such technologies are being revisited and modified at a rapid pace and require matching replacements.
With the rapid expansion of the chemical industries worldwide, there is an increasing interest to gain better understanding of the various kinds of separation and purification techniques and to explore novel methods in these areas. Chemical and process industries in future will need to be designed as part of sustainable industrial development, which retains the capacity of ecosystem to support developmental activities and life. Therefore, this event is aimed at bringing together academicians, researchers, technology developers and end users in various disciplines to share knowledge and exchange views, for devising effective ways to face the challenges in the fields of downstream processing.
The activity during the conference include: Keynote Addresses,
Plenary Lectures, Invited Talks and Oral / Poster Presentation of contributory
papers.
