We are pleased to announce the chronicle June issue with a number of articles.
On the Home Page, the latest update on IIT conversion issue is discussed. We have posted obituary about Prof. T R Anantharaman (metallurgy) who passed away. He was world renowned metallurgist.
On the News page (all pages are listed on top menu bar), we have published news about our institute, BHU and about IITs. It also contains the publication news about our Civil Engineering Handbook published by our alumnus, Amaresh Prasad.
On the reports page, we have published reports about ranking of engineering colleges and universities in India. Similar to last year, our college has stood 8th in all 3 magazine rankings this year.
Under Campus View page, we have published the recently formed online venture “Padhaku Joker” by six of our ceramic engineering students.
On the Alumni World page, we have announced the first ever meeting of Lucknow chapter. Under alumni news section, we have published news media reports about 14 of our illustrative alumni.
The Interview page contains interview of 2 of our distinguished alumni in India. Pramod Joshi (Electronics 1979) who is involved in setting up an engineering college in Assam on non-profit basis and Nitesh Duhan (Civil 2004) who has successfully fought against a management institute to make admissions criteria public.
The Chronicle Extra page contains selected articles from news media around the world in the fields of science & technology; health & life sciences; business & economy; PC, Internet and Information Technology; Art, Life, Politics, Life Style, etc.
Lastly, we have added more information in About Us page. We hope it will be of use to our readers.
