The UK India Graduate Work Experience Programme has 12- to-50-week paid placements available in several different job areas including Engineering, Finance, Information Technology, Project Management, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Retail, etc..

GTI Recruiting Solutions manages this Programme on behalf of the UK India Education and Research Initiative (UKIERI – www.ukieri.org). UKIERI is a government-to-government initiative in education with the aim of building closer ties between our two countries.

The aim of the UK India Graduate Work Experience Programme is to promote academic, cultural, and business exchange between the UK and India through enabling students and graduates to experience up to a year's paid work experience in the UK.

GTI Solutions takes on all the logistics for you before and during your stay. We help find accommodation, secure visas, and a 24/hour support line is available.

To be eligible for this great scheme we run on behalf of the UK government, you must:

* be an Indian citizen

* be graduating by 2009 / have graduated from an Indian university (preferably for a postgraduate qualification)

* be aged between 21 and 30 years old on the application deadline - 28th August

* be fluent in English (written and spoken).
