High-Tea party on December 26 at VC's Lodge

About the gathering

On the eve of IBAM 2009 (International BHU Alumni Meet) in December 2009, Our VC, Prof. D. P. Singh invited few of the prominent alumni across the globe for a tea-party at his residence on December 26, 2009 evening.

During the meeting, our VC had discussion with delegates about the way to help university to achieve its vision, collaboration with foreign universities, introduction of new educational programs, strengthening alumni association, etc.

Dr. Shail Gowda is Associate Professor of History at the Wilberforce University, Wilberforce, Ohio.  She is alumnus of the Department of History (Ph.D. 1973) BHU.

3) Dr. Raghava Gowda (Ohio, USA)

Dr. Raghava Gowda is Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science, University of Dayton, Ohio. He is alumnus of both the Faculty of Management Studies (MBM 1973), and IT-BHU (Electrical Engineering 1971).  He completed his MBIS and Ph.D. in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University in 1988.  He has a post graduate diploma in Numerical Analysis and Automatic Computing and also in Indian History and Culture for his credit. He served as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Business Administration, Kurukshetra University from 1974-1979.

4) Dr. Surya Pratap Singh (Varanasi)

8) Dr. Atul Parvatiyar

Dr. Atul Parvatiyar is alumnus of both Faculty of Arts (BA Hons 1977) and the Faculty of Management Studies (MBM 1979; Ph.D. 1985), BHU. He also taught at FMS, BHU between 1981 & 1985. Later he was a Marketing Professor at XLRI Jamshedpur, India (1986-1991); Goizueta Business School of Emory University in USA (1992 – 2001); and the Robinson Research Fellow and Managing Director of Center for Business & Industrial Marketing at Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University, USA (2001 – 2005). Currently, he is the President and CEO of the Institute for Customer Relationship Management (iCRM) - a management consulting, research, education & technology company with offices in USA, UK, India, Malaysia and Indonesia.
