The 2010 Annual Meeting of Board of Directors of IT-BHU Global Alumni Association was held on December 12. It was conducted by teleconference using Skype. Following is the summary of the discussion at the meeting:
1) Update on IIT issue:
It was informed that main issue delaying the parliamentary proceedings for IT-BHU to IIT conversion was noisy parliamentary session due to 2G scam discussion. We shall now have to wait till February budget session of the parliament. The issue of dividing UP state into zones for IIT-Kanpur and IIT-BHU is expected to be resolved.
2) Starting of fund-raising:
It was planned to start fund-raising after IIT conversion and will be kept for future discussion.
3) Make provision for transfer of fund to India
Various options were discussed about sending of alumni funds from US to India. No decision was made.
4) Website version 2.0 update
The new website of www.itbhuglobal.org (version 2.0) is expected to be ready by January.
5) Planning for scholarships
The total cost of 2010 scholarships/awards is expected to be around Rs. 2.25 lakhs ($5,000). The scholarships/awards will be implemented only after making arrangement for the required money.
6) Guest lecture program:
It was decided to start a guest lecture program, initiated by the Brand Building Group of our alumni association. The program envisages inviting our alumni who are respected faculty in India/abroad and request them to deliver guest lecture. It was also decided to plan and coordinate activities for the lectures.

Na najbardziej zasadne oferty mozemy liczyc jesli zdecydujemy sie na rejon w szczegolnosci popularny turystycznie, poniewaz biura podrozy zdaja sobie sprawe z silnej konkurencji na rynku i absorbujac uwage klienta staraja sie maksymalnie zmniejszyc ceny.
