According to Vice chancellor of BHU Lalji Singh, Universtiy has made a proposal of Rs 3,800 crore for revamping the university and opening up new departments.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has proposed to spend the funds to the tune of Rs 3,800 crore on the revamp of campus. According to Vice chancellor of BHU Lalji Singh, University has made a proposal of Rs Rs 3,800 crore for revamping the university and opening up new departments.
The university's working committee held a meeting in New Delhi yesterday and discussed the proposal. This proposal has been prepared under a five-decade vision plan.
Under the proposal, the university will construct a 4,000-rooms hostel, new schools for science and management education and a separate cancer hospital. The Vice Chancellor said that residential buildings for around 1,000 employees will also be constructed.
