 We at the IIT BHU Global Alumni Association (IBGAA) are delighted to host the 4th IIT BHU Global Alumni Meet on Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the Sheraton Lisle Hotel,3000 Warrenville Road, Lisle, Illinois, USA.  Chief Guests, Keynotes, and Panel Discussions:

We had great participation of alumni from the US, India and other countries in our last three meets in USA. This Meet will include keynote address by noted alumni and panel discussions on relevant topics. Prof. Rajeev Sangal, IIT BHU Director (B. Tech. EEE, '75, IIT Kanpur) is confirmed to attend.  Prof. Panjab Singh (Former VC-BHU) and Prof. S. N. Upadhyay(Former Director IT-BHU, M. Tech. CHE '66, Ph.D. '69) are confirmed as Special Guests for the Meet. Additionally, Dr. Sarvajna Dwivedi, Co-Founder, Pearl Therapeutics, Inc., (Pharm '84, M. Pharm '86) is confirmed Guest Speaker. Hon. Manoj Sinha, Minister of States, Indian Railways (Civ '79, M. Tech. '82) will be the Keynote Speaker.

IIT 2014 global conference is going to be held on Hyderabad at Dec 19 and this conference is a worldwide educational summit. For this Conference more than 3000 IIT alumni working in diverse fields around the world, its organizers said here on 29th June. This big event is organized by pan-IIT Hyderabad and IIT Hyderabad including with the support of Government of Telangana. This is the 12th edition of IIT Global Conference and it is the first time it is held in Hyderabad.

HYDERABAD: The IIT 2014 Global Conference, an annual meeting of IIT alumni worldwide, is scheduled to be held here from December 19 to December 21.

To be held in the city for the first time, the conference would see participation of more than 3,000 IIT alumni working in diverse fields around the world, its organisers said here today.

Sad demise of our alumni (Arun Ashthana and T K Srivastava)

We are sorry to inform that two of our alumni have left us forever. 
Sri Arun Ji Ashthana was born in Azamgarh District of UP. He graduated in Electrical Engineering in 1972 from BHU. He worked in UP Power Corporation and after retirement he was given the responsibility of Electricity Grievance Redressal Committee. He left us on 12th April 2014.

Sri T. K. Srivastava was born in Mirzapur. He passed Electrical Engineering from BHU in 1973. He served UP Power Corporation and after retirement he was settled in Lucknow. He left us on 12th June 2014.
BHU Engineer’s Alumni, Lucknow preys the Almighty for peace of the departed souls in their heavenly abode and strength to their family members to bear this unbearable loss.
