The Board of Directors (BoD) consists of 14 elected directors and 3 appointed directors (one each from Institute, Faculty and Students). The tenure of the board is two years.
Only one nomination was received for 13 out of 14 seats.
For the post of Deputy Secretary, we received two nominations. The candidate was selected by online voting by Council of Representatives (CoR) members. Online voting results can be viewed at:

Total 40 votes (out of 145 members of CoR) were cast. Akash Surana (Chemical 2006) was declared elected for the post. The new Board of Directors will hold the post for two years, i.e. till March 2011. The Board will start its regular business shortly.
