The alumni reunions are a time for batchmates to come together, share memories about their experiences at IT-BHU, and learn about the IT-BHU of today. It gives them a chance to reconnect and reminisce with their old friends, most of whom they have probably not seen for a long time. It also gives the alumni a chance to give something back to their alma mater, and also share their experiences with the current set of students.
The alumni association in conjunction with the Alumni cell will be organizing alumni reunions annually of the batches which complete 25 years of graduation in that particular year.
Alumni reunions of '76, '77, '79, '81, '82 and '85 batches held during the past few years turned out to be great fun for the alumni who came back to IT in great numbers.
This year, the silver jubilee reunion of the 1983 batch is going to be held from 27-29 December.

Attendance
- You and your family are cordially invited to attend this event
- Please confirm your attendance by registering at this link
- Confirm number of family members attending
- Please spread word to fellow batch mates
- Try to make your travel and hotel arrangements as soon as possible
Arrival
- All attendees and their family members are expected to arrive in Varanasi by late evening on the 26th of December.
- You are responsible for making your own hotel/IT guest house reservations and for transport from/to airport/railway station to/from hotel/guest house.
- The reunion starts on the 27th with registration at the IT Gymkhana at 9AM
- Transport (bus) from HHI, Ramada, Radisson & Taj Ganges will be provided every day to the IT Gymkhana.
- There are no formal events planned before the 27th
