- What is this payment used for?
- The Rs. 10,000 or $300.00 broadly covers the following common expenditures i.e.
(i) Lunches, Dinners for 3 days
(ii) Rly/Airport pick up (and possibly drop)
(iii) Local Transport
(iv) Bajra (Boat) Ride Expenditure
(v) Advance payment towards booking of hotel rooms. Now when the Alumnus checks
out of hotel, he pays his entire bill and the amount given as advanced payment
for booking of hotel room goes back to organiser so that he (in this case Vinod
and Ajay) have some money in hand to take care sundries which keep arising till
last moment. Often, some small amount remains left with the
organisers which goes to Institute/ Alumni Fund.Also, please note that in some
hotels breakfast is not complimentary. Else that too is to be paid by the alumnus.
Thus , the bills to be settled by each one of us shall be:
(i) Hotel Bill(which may include break fast)
(ii) Room service , Drinks etc. (other than those not covered in the entire
